 Works perfectly, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sony RC202IPV iPod cable (Electronics) I ordered this for my Sony XAV-62BT. The directions state that it will work in the front jacks, though the cable comes with an adaptor to allow it to work in the rear video jack. I can only assume that this additional cable is supplied for different stereos because the standard cable works fine with my iphone in the front jacks. I am able to control the iphone with the head unit no problem. I'm able to listen to my ipod music, listen to podcasts, watch video podcasts, and access any shows that I've loaded on my iphone. My bluetooth still works when the cable is connected so I can answer calls when they come in and the stereo automatically mutes my music. The only minor nit pick I have with the cable is that the jack that plugs into my phone is too large to plug in through the case so I have to remove the case to plug it in. Really I fault the case for this rather than the cable though as I've run into this with other cables as well.  ....eh, over expectations, under delivered., Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sony RC202IPV iPod cable (Electronics) If you read nothing else, know this: To the best of my knowledge the yellow video jack DOES NOT work with the front AUX on Sony head units.I have an XAV-62BT that I bought at the same time. In its manual, it states that the front AUX is for audio only, while rear AUX can be switched between either audio & video OR audio only (presumably to avoid a blank screen). I admit it was ignorant of me to have assumed it worked in the front, but the concept is possible and why else would this cable have a 1/8" jack when the only place that accepts it is the front AUX port? Luckily, included with this cable is a 1/8" video to RCA component video connector (male) that's just long enough to reach the back of the unit. Unfortunately, this means a crappy wire hanging out of your dash. ...the worse part? The iPhone only recognizes that it's hooked up to a "TV" when the USB cable is NOT plugged into the head unit.
