So I originally bought 2 sets of these at Walmart to replace the factory speakers in my Ford Edge. I was very pleased over the improvement in sound quality. The sound is fairly crisp and clear, but they did not put out as much bass as I would expect. I just retuned my presets on the equalizer, and now they sound great!
I was so satisfied for what they did for my Edge that i had to buy a set for my Mustang. I replaced the stock speakers with these for the highs and mids, and they sound great. Hooked up to my system with a 1000w amp they hit hard and are loud enough for me.

There is no question that you'll get your ~$30 worth out of these speakers. Great little speakers, nice clean sound. If a full spectrum of sound is important to you, these speakers will need to be complimented with larger speakers or a subwoofer. If you're ok having more mids and highs without as much bass- these will work for you. I have these in the front doors of my Mazda Protege, working together with 6x9 Kicker 3-way speakers in the back, no amp and a pioneer receiver in the dash. Sounds great.

These are absolutely amazing for only $60 for two pair you can't beat the quality of these speakers. I can honestly tell the bass and sound difference between these speakers and Kicker speakers. If you match these speakers with the Sony Xplod deck as well like the title says "Absolute Greatness!!!"
