I have it hooked up to my sony xplod cd player and my Sony XSLB12S Slim Line Subwoofer with Enclosure. It is perfect for this sub!It's actually perfect even if you have 2 subs. You can plug in 2 subs in "parallel" to this amp and it will push 300 watts to EACH sub (600 watts) or just plug in 1 sub. It has a "pass through" so if you want to by another amp for more subs or for your regular speakers in your car or truck all you do is plug in the rca cable into this amp instead of running them all through out your car all the way to your cd player. You don't even have to run remote turn on wire at all you don't want. Normally you have to run it to your cd player for an amp to turn on but for this amp you can splice the supplied wires into your existing factory speaker wires in your car for the amp to turn on when it senses the signal coming thru the speaker wires. This amp DOES NOT GET HOT AT ALL!!! It stays perfectly...
